Moira Gallagher

Moira currently serves as the Tiffany & Company Foundation Curatorial Intern in American Decorative Arts at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she works under the direction of curator Alice Cooney Frelinghuysen.  Moira believes that "the coursework I took at HDA assisted me in developing strong research and critical thinking skills that have proven essential in analyzing and interpreting a collection of decorative art objects.  Additionally, the internship opportunities I experienced through the program provided incredible opportunities for professional growth and networking.  The far-reaching network of HDA alumni continues to be one of the program's best assets.  It provides an endless web of scholars and professionals who share your interests and experiences.  They are supremely dedicated to helping other alumni build a sustainable career in the decorative arts."
