Our Students and Alumni are Off to Work

Current student Morgan Blattenberg has accepted a position as Collections Inventory Technician at the National Museum of American History.  In addition, an exhibit that she worked on during her graduate assistantship, "Art Pottery and Glass in America, 1880-1920s", is now on view at NMAH.

Maureen Marton '15 has been awarded the two-year Decorative Arts Trust Internship at the Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute in Utica, NY, where she will work with the director and contribute to a variety of exhibition and educational projects.

Kaitlin Handler '12, has been promoted to Vintage Merchandising Manager for all categories at One King's Lane in New York, NY.

Elizabeth Varner '09 has accepted the position of Staff Curator at the US Department of Interior in Washington, DC.

Gina Guzzon'14 has been hired as a Research Assistant in the American Art Department at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. As part of an NEH grant she will be working on an early american furniture catalog. The publication will be the PMA's first catalog of its collection of American furniture dating from 1650-1840 and will appear in print and online in early 2020.
