Cindy Williams (HDA MA Program Director), Angela George (HDA MA Faculty), and Scott Scholz (HDA MA '08 and Curator of Dumbarton House) were among those invited to the National Gallery of Art for a preview of Masterpieces of American Furniture from the Kaufman Collection, 1700-1830, a landmark display of American decorative arts in the nation's capital. The permanent installation is made possible by a generous gift of the legendary collection of early American furnishings by George and Linda Kaufman. Jon Frederick (HDA MA '11), exhibit specialist at the National Gallery, developed the models for the exhibition.
